ENCORE TOUR – Open Air in Nuremberg

Event Date: July 1st 2005 | Posted by:

[:de]Off to Nuremberg to the open air!!! At 8:30 am the “fantastic four” set out for Nuremberg. As we arrived, we had to assess that there were already some people waiting. We immediately descried the Tour busses. And because we had presents for Anastacia, Shawn and the crew, Babs went to the bus driver and asked him if we could pull them in at the tour bus. He said it would be no problem, and so we “disposed” our small presents and we knew that Ana would get them the same day! *bigsmile* The approaching dark clouds made us change our clothes in the car. That changing of clothes turned out dead right. Because, as we said, some people were already waiting, we lined up at the locks at 11:00 am. Also Sandy, Ka, Carmen and Vido came one by one. Once again a big THANK YOU to Sandy for the excellent catering, which came at the very best time! The Ponchos we took with us, could only limited serve their purpose, for the “weather god” did not really mean well with us. After some heavy cloudbursts we were soaked to the bones. At 5:15 pm at last was entrance, but once again we had to face a cloudburst. But without Ponchos, ‘cause we already packed them into our backpack. Soak and dirty to the skin, we made it once again to the FRONT ROW. *ggg* The securities’ radio message: “The first just establish an new marathon world record!” They meant Angie and me, because we ran through the puddles like crazy. The underground soldiers settled in at the right side of the footbridge and we did the same at the left side. The supporting act was Sven Schumacher. A one-man-band which has also been heated up by the first row. The Stage is much bigger and they built up a footbridge between the main stage and the ancillary stage on which Anastacia paced around. Right at the beginning of the concert Ana told us that if it would start to rain again, she would surely get wet with us. Again we snatched our blinks, smiles love-signs. Anastacia was in a ultra cool mood and gabbed as usual. The red hat Ana always throws into the audience, this time she has thrown it to Carmen. And a kiss right after. At the beginning we were still hoping not to get more wet during the concert, but it wasn’t meant to be! Suitable at “Who’s gonna stop the rain” it began to rain again. Stronger and stronger. Anas´ make up already took leave, but she showed solidarity and remained at the small stage behind. Only the guitarists went into the dry. Ana looked up to the sky and let the rain trickle on her face. She said we should better take pictures now, before her face is completely “worn away”. By the way: Anastacia looks much more hot when she’s wet!!! The mood was on the peak level and Ana sprocked really weird! In the meantime it got dark and as encore we heard Paid my dues, I’m outta love and Welcome to my truth. After the concert we met the whole band at the tour busses. They all were in a good mood, gave autographs and of course also pictures have been taken. At the car we changed our clothes again and at 12:30 am we began to search for a hotel. Which wasn’t easy at this time. But we found one, and after a hot shower we went to bed deadly tired.[:en]
