ENCORE TOUR – Wolfsburg

Event Date: July 3rd 2005 | Posted by:

[:de]We got up at 8:00 am. Snugly breakfast together with our German ambassador Tatjana and Anja. Departure towards Wolfsburg at 9:30 am. On the way we bought a dozen roses. We arrived at the Volkswagen Arena at 11:00 am. Ka and Vido were already waiting and we nestled in our picnic blanket. As usually it began a fight as the locks were built up. Ouch…DONE!! We will be in the front row again for there was only one entrance. Entrance was at 5:00 pm. The entrance control was no problem and so off to the next sprint. Result: underground soldiers at the right side and we on the left side of the footbridge. And where??? Of course FRONT ROW. Brandon and Dee Dee visited us in the fosse before the concert began. We talked a little and they signed a few things. This time the supporting acts were “Rolf Stahlhofen” and our already well known “Sven Schumacher”. And who raised the spirit? The FRONT ROW – who else? At this point a little criticism to the lamely audience. More spirit guys!!! Exactly at 8:55 pm she kicked off. Anastacia made us sprock and had a big smile on her face when she saw us. Of course she greeted us with waving and twinkle. Unfortunately Anastacia had to challenge the audience to stand up and take part and to take the word seat with a pinch of salt. But the mood on stage was still great and the band was very happy about us. The height for us was as Anastacia throw her red hat to Dagmar at “Sexy mother…”!!! Because it landed in the fosse, we wanna say thank you to the “helpful” security who almost wanted to leave it there. All the others would have liked to help us!!! J.J. did the choreography of “Time” with us and had to laugh (like already in Nuremberg and Salzburg) because we knew the lyrics of “The saddest part” and “Everything burns” and could sing along, although these songs are still “unknown”. The two hours went by much too fast and as encore we only got PMD and IOL this time. That’s a pity because we really miss WTMT a lot!!! After the concert we went to the tourbusses and there we met Dee Dee, Brandon and J.J. Through the barrier they gave us again some autographs and J.J. said he would also like to have such a small Edding (Babs call it an emergency Edding). We promised him to bring him and the crew some of these Eddings when we meet the next time. After a very sad “Goodbye” to Angie and Carmen we set out for home at 12:00 pm. Happy and sad in one, we slept on our air bed (Roman on his snorer couch).[:en]

At 9:00 am it was time to get up. After a quick breakfast we set out for Wolfsburg. After about 4 ½ hours we arrived at our accommodation in Wettmar. A big THANK YOU to Anja’s mum for the nice hospitality. In the evening we started our barbecue again and enjoyed the tepid evening ‘till late in the night.
